First-time endeavors can be quite a ride, and launching the Elements Every Day community has certainly provided me with interesting twists and turns. Each of us is ‘one in a million’. Every person who enters our community space is valued as exactly that: one in a million. You are someone who trusted the process, took initiative to try something new, and demonstrated openness to new possibilities.

In that spirit, may we continue to grow! We have some exciting changes and new opportunities to share coming up in May:

  • One-Time Class: Sunday, May 5th at 10 a.m.

    • Balance Board Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Training

    • In this class, beginners can experience the unstable board being on land. If you have some fears of the water but are curious about trying a challenge, this is a great starting point.

  • One-Time Class: Thursday, May 9th at 6:30 p.m.

    • The Body Is a Time Capsule: Exploring the Memories We Store in Our Bodies

    • This session invites participants to see how emotions store themselves in our bodies. Grief, trauma, joy, sorrow, and love all find ways of showing up physically, especially when not expressed verbally. Join Karen Faith Gordon for a discussion on this topic, as well as remedies for healing.

  • One-Time Class: Sunday, May 19th at 12 p.m.

    • Dizzy Spells & Anxiety: How to Achieve Equilibrium & Equanimity with Elina Gorelkin and Karen Faith Gordon

    • Join Dr. Elina Gorelkin and Karen Faith Gordon for a two-hour workshop to learn about the physical impact of anxiety on the body, and how to address it skillfully. Karen and Elina will provide information and resources to support increased resilience to anxiety as well as tools to resolve dizziness and other related issues.

  • Time Change: Beginning April 29th, Lindsay will be leading Chair Yoga with Lindsay on Mondays at 1 p.m.

  • Time Change: Beginning April 25th, Deepa will be leading Gentle Yoga with Deepa on Thursdays at 11:30 a.m.
