Taking It All In… At Your Own Pace

Dear Friend,

Popping in here mid-month to share some quick year-end thoughts with you.

Every year, the holiday season is uniquely embedded with an expectation for celebration. And, while it can be joyous, it can also be challenging.

I am here to remind you that, above all else, the choice to acknowledge, celebrate, or even avoid the holidays is yours to make.

Whatever you are experiencing, please know you are in good company. Some of us are surrounded by family, others are reminiscing about loved ones no longer present to celebrate this time of year. Whether talked about or not, every one of us is taking in the holiday season — in our own way.

Reflecting on the past and looking to the future is standard fare. The key is to avoid missing the value of being in the present. I’ll give you a practice run here, with an invitation to reflect on messages shared earlier this year, and by letting you know what’s coming up in 2024.
