Are You Paying Attention?

Love is attention. How much of our attention are we actually giving when we interact with each other?

I offer this as an invitation to think about what it looks like to be present to someone's experience during a conversation. Are you connecting, or are you more focused on what your response is going to be? Or, are you ticking through a 'to-do' list in your mind?

A shift in how we show up in our engagement with others --- by giving attention through our authentic presence --- has great power to impact communication and ultimately, our relationships.

During the month of May, we are offering four opportunities to show up for authentic conversations about aging:

  • May 2nd — Proactive Aging: What to Know Now To Be Prepared Later

  • May 9th — When the Scales Tip: What to Expect From the Unexpected

  • May 16th — How We Tick: The Importance of Good Sleep Hygiene and the Benefits of Laughter In Our Lives

  • May 23rd — What's Normal? Looking at the Changes In Our Aging Bodies and Minds

This series is being offered free of charge this month. These discussions are intended as an entryway to sharing your own experience, while connecting with others on a similar journey.

The only ask of you, my friend? Please tell us you're coming:
